4. Sanath Jayasuriya
Sanath Jayasuriya was one of the vital members of the 1996 World Cup-winning Sri Lankan team. It was when he showed the world on how to bat in the mandatory field restriction overs as he smashed the bowlers all over the park. He went on to win the Man of the Series award. The Matara Mauler also did well in 1999, 2003 and the 2007 World Cup. In total, he has scored 1165 runs in 37 innings at an average of 34.26.
