Indian captain Rohit Sharma and debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal were the prominent figures in the latest update of the ICC Test players’ rankings after the first Test between West Indies and India which was played in Dominica.

India defeated West Indies by innings and 141 runs after the hosts were bowled out for 150 and 130 in response to India’s 421/5d. Rohit Sharma scored a brilliant 103, his 10th Test century and second away from home, while Jaiswal on his Test debut, hammered 171 runs in 387 balls.
