Rohit Sharma had a good day on his home ground, Mumbai. After having a low score in the last two games, he opened the bat in Wankhede stadium and struck boundaries all over the ground. He started his innings with scoring a four after which he didn’t stop.
The “Hit-Man” presented a furious show as he hit five maximums and six fours. He set a fruitful partnership with KL Rahul who went on to score 91 runs. They both gave the power-packed performances, entertaining the crowd with their bats. In just 25 balls, both openers put 50 runs on the board. No fielders can stop the duo from sending the ball out of rope.
Rohit Sharma got his 19th half-century in the T20I format and scored 71 runs before getting out on the ball of Kesrick Williams in the 12th over. Sharma gave a solid start to India, setting the tone for captain Virat Kohli.

India Won The T20I Series
India beat West Indies in the third T20I to clinch the three-match T20I series by 2-1. Also, India recorded their seventh straight series win over West Indies across formats. The men in blue set the target of 241 runs against the visitors. Kieron Pollard led-team lost the wickets early and lost the match by 67 runs.
After the Mumbai game, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have become the joint highest scorers in the T20I history. Kohli and Rohit have scored 2633 runs in T20I cricket.
Now, the two teams will head to play the three-match ODI series starting from Sunday (15th December). The three matches will be played in Chennai, Vishakhapatnam and Cuttack.
