Rohit Sharma Wishes ‘Irreplaceable’ Sachin Tendulkar on his 45th Birthday
Meanwhile, Sachin and Rohit have been teammates in many teams including the Indian cricket team in the past. Rohit has always expressed his admiration for Sachin saying that he idolises him.
However, a great cricketing legend graced this mother earth on this very day, 45 years ago.
Sachin burst on to the scene with the record of scoring 326* in a school match but little did everybody knew what he had in his store. He made his first-class debut at the age of 14 for a starred Mumbai team.
He made his India debut in 1989 against Pakistan in Karachi. However, his most cherished cricketing moment was when he won the ICC World Cup in 2011.
Before bidding farewell to cricket, Sachin had scored 15,921 Test runs, and 18,426 ODI runs and numerous other records to his name.
Although he may have retired from all forms of cricket, his service to the nation continues unabated.
Rohit wishes impelling Tendulkar
Rohit took to Twitter to send his wishes to the God of cricket. He used a couple of adjectives to describe the legend.
“Inspirational. Impelling. Irreplaceable. Many happy returns to the greatest
@sachin_rt wish you a great day,” Rohit tweeted.
Meanwhile, Rohit is currently with the Mumbai squad in the Indian Premier League. They didn’t have a good start to the tournament like the way they had wanted.
So far, Mumbai has won only one game out of the fives they have played. They are yet to find the right combination going for the team.
However, they will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 24 (Tuesday) at the Wankhede Stadium.
