Suryakumar Yadav scored a sensational century against England in the third T20I on Sunday. The right-handed batsman waged a lone battle as India eventually lost the game by 17 runs while chasing 216.
India were reeling at 31 for 3 in the powerplay and were looking set for a big loss before Yadav came up with his first T20I century. He played some glorious shots during his knock before departing in the 19th over.

Yadav scored 117 off just 55 balls with the help of 14 fours and 6 sixes. And as Yadav received praise from all over for his knock, an old tweet of Rohit Sharma for him has gone viral.
Rohit had posted the tweet in 2011 in which he had written: “Just got done with BCCI awards here in chennai.. some exciting cricketers coming up..Suryakumar yadav from Mumbai to watch out for in future!”
