Rohit Sharma becomes the first International cricketer to score 2 double hundred’s in the One Day Format of the game. Sehwag had scored 219 against West Indies at Indore in 2011 Rohit scired first 100 runs in 100 balls, and than scored 164 runs of the last 73 balls that he faced. In an Interview in the mid Innings interval,  whenasked by Alan Wilkins if he was tired after his massive innings,Rohit Sharma said he was not tired by his massive innings because he had been resting for few months before this game. He also said tat he wanted to spend  some time on the wicket. When he raeched to his 50, he wanted to covert the 50 into a 100 and than carry on.. When asked by Alan Wilkins if he was looking at the scoreboard, he said its very important to look at the score board, as you need to know where your team stands currently and he said that he was just concentrating on how many overs were left and who all were still left to bowl. He said that it’s very important to score big when you are in good form. When asked about the Eden Gardens. he said that it was a very special venue for him as he had made his Ranji Trophy and Test Match Debut here. He also praised the people watching the game from the stadium.
