Video: Ross Taylor abuses umpire at Eden Gardens during the 2nd Test 1

India gets 112-run first innings lead as seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami ripped apart New Zealand middle order and lower order. New Zealand was all-out for 204 in reply to India’s 316 runs.

But when India came to bat in the second innings New Zealand bowler Matt Henry and Trent Boult did the same thing to the top order of India at the Eden Gardens.

On an uneven pitch, seamers get the assistance from the pitch. Opener Shikhar Dhawan struggled against Henry as he was hit on the body and hand, Murali Vijay was caught at the slip off the bowling of Boult.

When Dhawan was leaving the ground, Black Caps captain Taylor says, “common Kohli.”

Then Virat Kohli came to bat and Boult bowled round-arm and beat Virat so the delivery struck the pad, New Zealand appealed for a catch but umpire rejected the appeal.

Frustrated captain Ross Taylor said, ‘behe***d’ to the umpire.

Now, it seems funny to the fans as for how Taylor, a kiwi, know a Hindi superlative.

Yes, overseas players are now familiar with the Hindi words because of their association with Indian players at the same dressing room during the IPL.

Due to IPL, Hindi abusive words have become popular among the overseas players, so when they tour India they often use it  to get under the skin of local players.

IPL also helped them to understand the strategy of  subcontinent team as they have learnt a bit of Hindi.
