SA vs BAN 2017: Bangladesh Name Their 15 Man Test Squad
Bangladesh have announced their Test squad for the tour of South Africa starting 28th September. With Shakib Al Hasan choosing to take a break from Test cricket Bangladesh have big boots to fill in this away series. Shakib being their most experienced players adds quality to both their batting and bowling line up, but they will be without his service in the Test series. Another notable omission was the absence of Nasir Hossain from the squad.
Mahmadullah is making a comeback to the Test team along with Rubel Hossain after missing the Test series against Australia at home. Subashish Roy has also been added to the team to add depth to their bowling ranks. Mushfiqur Rahim will lead the side in the three match Test series in South Africa.
Bangladesh team is on a high after beating the mighty Australians for the first time in Test cricket. This victory has instated a new ray of hope amongst the Bangladeshi fans and cricketers. The batting lineup has been strengthened by the addition of Mahmadullah, who has shown potential with the bat in the One Day format for the Bangladeshi team. He will be looking forward to cementing his place in the middle order.
