Sachin Tendulkar: A Billion Dreams’ Trailer To Be Launched On April 13th
The trailer of Sachin Tendulkar: A Billion Dreams, the much awaited biographical movie based on the life of batting great Sachin Tendulkar has received its final date of release after much suspense.
The trailer will be launched on April 13, 2017, at 7 Pm. The details were revealed by a poster retweeted by Tendulkar on Twitter.
The movie is directed Emmy-nominated director James Erskine, who has also co-written the script with writer Siva Ananth. The music of the movie is given by Academy award winning legend AR Rahman.
The movie is being produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Carnival Motion Pictures under 200 NotOut Productions and will see Sachin Tendulkar make his acting debut.
He will be co-starring with Marathi actor Mayuresh Prem who will be playing the role of Nitin Tendulkar, Sachin’ eldest brother. The movie is set to release on May 26 along with Hollywood release Baywatch.
There was a wave of excitement when the teaser of the movie which was released in January earlier this year. The snippet trailer received a great response, making the fans very eager for the release of the movie.
The movie took three years of careful detailing and cinematic brilliance to complete.
“For so many years, I did whatever I wanted to do and the camera captured that. Suddenly I was asked to do particular things and then the camera captured that, so it was a bit different for me. Believe me, the first option was better… Acting is not something that I dreamt of. Without any doubt, acting was more challenging than playing cricket. I enjoyed playing more”, Sachin was quoted saying at the time of teaser release of the movie.”
Recently, a wrap-up party of the completion of the movie brought the biopic in headlines. The producer of the movie organised a party to celebrate the small milestone. The party was a high profile affair which saw Bollywood A-listers like Ranveer Singh, Saiyami Kher, Mohit Marwah and Comedian Vikram Sathaye. A few ex-cricketers like Ajit Agarkar and Sameer Dhighe apart from others also were in attendance.
The Cricketer seems to be completely liking the sort of opportunity his post-cricketing life is offering him, as he also recently amazed his fans with his Singing debut, releasing his debut song – ‘Cricketwali beat pe’.
