Sachin Tendulkar has played many blistering knocks at a crucial stage but eventually, his many innings failed to achieve success because the team as a whole, could not save the game.

At many times, his powerful innings could not save the game. Some of here, we have discussed which might have broken Sachin’s heart.

First is the Sachin’s 1996 World Cup semi-final knock. Sri Lanka had set up the start to chase the target of 252 runs, Sachin gave a brilliant start to the team and India had the control of the game. But after he was dismissed at 65, India lost their next six wickets for a mere 22 runs and the opposition pulled themselves back in the game and India were reeling at 8-120.

Another heartbreaking knock was against Pakistan in Chennai in 1996. Tendulkar scored a masterly 136 to pull India from the dead but with 16 runs to get, the Master was dismissed by Saqlain Mushtaq. After which India could not save the game and they were dismantled by the Wasim Akram-led side.
