8. Irfan Pathan:
Like his brother Yusuf Pathan, 2012 was also Irfan Pathan’s last year when he played with the Indian team. However, he got more matches than his brother. After the Aisa Cup league match against Pakistan, he played the ODI series in Sri Lanka before featuring in the India side in the World T20 later that year.
But the left-handed also failed to impress with his fast bowling which costed him. He was still a regular player in IPL 2013 but was not given a chance in the national side.
In January 2020, he proclaimed his retirement from the game. Pathan recently played the Road Safety series 2020. He is often seen in the Star Sports studio as a commentator and expert.
