Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar has come in support of girls, urging one and all to help transform the children’s life so that every child can get the chance to play one day. The former India cricketer had urged the fans to support the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup and now took it to Twitter to lend the support for the budding female players.
“The ICC Women’s World Cup is supporting UNICEF so that one day every girl will have the chance to play. Once you go out and start play, it has a positive effect on your health. Sports taught me to focus, to concentrate, to have targets. Together, we can help change a child’s life forever,” said Sachin who is UNICEF and Cricket For Good Ambassador.

The UNICEF, meanwhile, by taking the help of cricket is using the extraordinary power and reach to help transform children’s lives around the world so that one day every child will have the chance to play.
Through an online campaign called #oneday4children, it is asking for monetary help from everyone so that it can provide life-saving food, vaccines, education, sports programmes and protection for children around the world, giving them the platform to play and grow up happy.
