Sachin Tendulkar Wishes Lasith Malinga on his 35th Birthday
The legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar sent his birthday wishes to Lasith Malinga on his 35th Birth anniversary. Malinga and Sachin played against and with each other at the topmost level.
In fact, Sachin Tendulkar and Lasith Malinga shared the dressing room while playing for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL. Thus, both of the talismanic players share a great bonhomie with themselves. Meanwhile, both of these players shared a great rivalry with each other.
Sachin Tendulkar wished Malinga in a unique style. The Master Blaster said one should always look at the ball and not his hair when the batsman is facing Sri Lanka’s fast bowler.
Lasith Malinga who is out of the Sri Lankan team is a master of hitting the bullseye with his yorkers. Malinga had a slinging action which made it difficult for the batsman to pick him. Thus, with the extra pace under his arsenal, Malinga was able to breathe down the neck of the World’s best batsmen.
In fact, Malinga was able to get Sachin Tendulkar’s wicket in the final of the 2011 World Cup final. However, Gautam Gambhir and MS Dhoni were able to take India home.
Lasith Malinga has turned 35 years old and his return to the Sri Lankan side looks difficult.
Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to send his birthday wish to the linchpin of Sri Lankan Cricket. Tendulkar post read as, “When it came to batting against #LasithMalinga, I always said … baal ko Nahin, ball ko Dekho (don’t look at the hair, look at the ball). ? Happy birthday, my friend”.
