Legendary Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar wished young leg-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal, as the latter celebrates his 28 birthday on Monday.

Meanwhile, Chahal has taken rapid strides in international cricket since his emergence. He grabbed eyeballs during his stint in the Indian Premier League with Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Since then, he hasn’t looked back and emerged to be a match winner for Virat Kohli. The 26 ODI and T20I each veteran has been spectacular for the Indian side in the last one year.

So far, Yuzvendra has picked 45 ODI and 42 T20I wickets and has been critical to India’s success. Chahal has the best bowling figure for India in the T20Is (six for 25).

He is also the only India bowler to take a six-wicket haul in T20Is. Furthermore, he also has the third best bowling figure in the T20I cricket.

Chahal, however, was a part of the limited-overs series against England. He had a moderate tour, and he struggled to pick wickets in useful pitches. India also had a mixed tour in the white-ball series, as they lost the ODI series following their T20I series win.

Yuzvendra Chahal, meanwhile, graced the earth on this very day in 1990. Wishes started pouring in on the social media since the clock ticked 12.

Among all, few wished stood and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was one of them. He took to Twitter to wish him and urge him to keep up the good work.

Wish you a very happy birthday, @yuzi_chahal. Keep up the fantastic work. May you achieve all that you desire,” Sachin wrote.
