The cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar‘s security has been downgraded after the security assessment review in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena MLA Aaditya Thackeray has been upgraded from Y+ to the Z category.
The ex-member of Rajaya Sabha Sachin Tendulkar till now enjoyed the X category security, but now his security has been lowered. Under the X category, a policeman used to guard the 46-year-old cricketer round-the-clock. However, now he will be given a police escort whenever he steps out of his home.
Sachin Tendulkar will participate in the Road Safety World Series
He will also be seen in the Road Safety World Series. It is a T20 series which will be played between February 2 to February 16 next year across India. Many former international cricketers will participate in the series.
Former cricketers from five countries – Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and India can participate in the Road Safety World series. Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Brian Lara, Brett Lee, Tillakaratne Dilshan, and Jonty Rhodes will be part of the series.
