1. Afridi is joint third with Ricky Ponting and Jacques Kallis for the most man of the match awards (32) in ODI’s.
2. Afridi holds the most number of sixes hit in an ODI career (333). It is 60 sixes higher than the 2^nd on that list Sanath Jayasuriya.
3. He is the only player to achieve the feat of scoring above 50 runs and capturing 5 or more wickets in a single ODI thrice. No other player has done it more than once.
4. He held the record for the fastest century in an international match, scored off 37 balls for a period of 18 years. It was recently broken by Corey Anderson , who hit a century in 36 balls.
5. He has the highest strike rate for any player (115.11) with more than 1000 ODI runs.
6. He holds the record for the second best ODI bowling figures (7 for 12)(Chaminda Vaas has the best bowling figures in ODI’s – 8 for 19). It was one of his many comeback matches and he had also earlier scored 76 runs, capping of a memorable day for him.
