Sakshi Dhoni Breaks Her Silence, Gives A ‘Tit For Tat’ Treatment To Harsh Goenka

Sakshi Dhoni has opted the tit for tat formula to counter the slew of indirect hatred aimed by Harsh Goenka at her husband MS Dhoni. The brother of the Sanjiv Goenka, who owns the Rising Pune Supergiants franchise, has been acting like ‘reckless teenager’ in the past few days.

Goenka has been trying to down rate MS Dhoni since the start of this edition and has only been rewarded with the same behaviour from the cricket fans. His antics began after the culmination of Rising Pune Supergiants’ opening game against Mumbai Indians

Harsh Goenka had posted on Twitter after Rising Pune Supergiant’s win over Mumbai Indians: ““#RPSvMI Smith proves who’s the king of the jungle. Overshadows Dhoni totally. Captain’s innings. Great move to appoint him as captain.”

This tweet was understandably an indirect attempt to glorify the decision of replacing MS Dhoni as the skipper of the side with Steve Smith. A sect of fans disliked this decision initially but overall it made sense to replace Dhoni with Smith as the former had a poor debut season last year.

However, Harsh seemed to have been completely carried away by the social media and went on to compare the most successful captain in the IPL with a new skipper who is a first-time skipper in the league.

If that was not enough, the business tycoon showed again with some stats to stir up the pot and get himself mocked once again. He tweeted: “#RPS batting statistics until now – Manoj Tiwari, Rahane, Christian have the best strike rates,” after RPS’ defeat against Kings XI Punjab.

MS Dhoni being MS Dhoni hasn’t bothered to react but his wife Sakshi, who has been bit vocal about incidents affecting her husband, seems to have lost the control and has given a calm dose of wisdom to Goenka in one of her latest tweets.

Wearing a CSK helmet and a yellow tee, Sakshi posted a picture of her with a quote. She tweeted: The quote read from Sakshi Dhoni, “When a bird is alive, it eats ants.  When the bird is dead, ants eat the bird.  Time and circumstances can change at any time. Don’t devalue or hurt anyone in life.  You may be powerful today, but remember, time is more powerful than you.  One tree makes a million match sticks but only one match is needed to burn a million trees.  So be good and do good.”

Let’s hope this message convinces Goenka to stop his attempts of grabbing publicity by the name of MS Dhoni. For all the advent that takes place in the world of social media and memes, negative publicity has never benefitted anyone and there haves been no long-term gains off it.
