IPL 2020: Sandeep Sharma Is Consistent And Underrated - Brad Hogg 1

Sandeep Sharma has been a key member in the pace bowling arsenal of SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and former Australian spinner Brad Hogg has been impressed with the pacer’s consistency in IPL 2020.

Sandeep Sharma Is Underrated And Covered Loss Of Bhuvneshwar Kumar -Brad Hogg

Sandeep Sharma dismantled Mumbai’s top order dismissing both openers Rohit Sharma and Quinton De Kock as Mumbai managed only 149/8 as SRH chased down the target in only 18 overs without losing a wicket.

Earlier in October, pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was ruled out of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a hip injury.

Brad Hogg feels Sandeep Sharma has covered the loss more than enough for SRH after Bhuvneshwar Kumar suffered an injury and said the former is an underrated player but deserves credit for accuracy. Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked three wickets in four matches averaging 33 before suffering an injury.

His loss came as a big blow to SunRisers Hyderabad as he had picked 136 wickets in 121 matches averaging 23.91. But other pacers in the squad like Sandeep Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed, T Natarajan, Siddharth Kaul and Basil Thampi made up for the loss. The form of Jason Holder who came as a replacement and picked 10 wickets in only five matches averaging 15.8 could not have come at a better time.
