Sanju Samson has been taken into consideration as an option for MS Dhoni’s replacement in Team India though he has failed to show his best in the international platform, having played in four T20Is. The youngster is improving his skills and learning to be calm and cool like Dhoni.

Samson, who made the debut in the team 2015, was dropped from the team after playing one T20I match. In 2019, he got the recall from Team India after Dhoni went under Sabbatical. Although he didn’t get chances to perform because of the likes of Rishabh Pant, who was the priority for the team.

Fortunately, this year, he got three chances but failed to capitalize on those. He has collected 35 runs in four T20I matches.
