Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed recently slammed the Indian cricket team player, admitting that their players are using ‘colourful’ language.
The wicket-keeper batsman Sarfraz also added he would have been in deep trouble if being caught abusing before the camera, unlike Indian cricketers.
Moreover, Sarfraz pointed out two particular instances from India’s recent tour to South Africa.
During the Test series, Virat Kohli used unacceptable language while talking to Murali Vijay at the non-striker’s end.
In addition, another incident was of Mahendra Singh Dhoni when he was seen talking to Manish Pandey during the One-day International series.
Sarfraz said that is how Indian cricketers generally speak on the field.
“That’s the issue. When Kohli says then people like it. But when we say it, people say ‘look they are abusing’. Boss, they abuse a lot. They abuse even while speaking normally. We even saw Dhoni,” Sarfraz said to Samaa TV channel.
However, Sarfraz admitted that India didn’t get the opportunity to abuse Pakistan in the 2017 Champions Trophy grand final. Meanwhile, Pakistan totally dominated that game to win the maiden champions trophy in England.
“In Champions Trophy we didn’t give them any chance to even think. Fakhar Zaman had taken the game so far away in 10-15 overs,” Sarfraz maintained.
“If Sarfraz had abused, it would been on Twitter. This is how they (Indians) talk. If you want to, ready Kohli’s lip sync (sic),” Sarfraz Ahmed concluded.
Meanwhile, the relationship between India and Pakistan has gone to its lowest ebb. They have recently clashed against each other quite a few time of late.
Most recently, India opposed to Pakistan’s hosting of Emerging Nations Cup. While Pakistan made it clear that they will send their team for Asia Cup. Both the event will take place later that year.
