Saurav Ganguly, the ‘God of Offside’ as he is known was born on the 8th of July, just a day after MS Dhoni, the ‘Captain cool’ celebrated his birthday.
Both players are exceptional in their knowledge of the game and have in the years given Indian cricket plenty of moments to cherish.
Dada is currently the honorable President of the CAB and President of the Editorial Board with Wisden India while MSD is still trying to win India some more trophies in the shorter formats of the game.
Though Dhoni won India two World Cups, Ganguly’s contribution to Indian cricket is far greater that any of the trophies.
