Ashwin had mixed results in this match as after taking a five-wicket haul in the first innings, he failed to score big while batting at number six. All were expecting a similar bowling performance from him in the second innings but this time, he could not live up the expectations as he could just take one wicket in 30 overs he bowled. This was quite a disappointing fact as he is India’s strike bowler who has the key responsibility to provide breakthrough whenever required.
