Sachin Tendulkar said that he has with him the photograph of the All Time Test Playing XI picked by Australian and perhaps cricketing legend, Sir Don Bradman. Sachin also claimed that it is quite sort of pride for him and he will definitely “treasure” it forever as the legend had included the master blaster in his team.
The Master Blaster also told that it was perhaps the greatest compliment of his life to be included in the legend’s team. He spoke these words while speaking at a sporting event which was organized by the Australian Consulate in the presence of Australian Prime Minister, Tony Abbott who is presently on a tour to India.
Tendulkar also revealed that when Sir Bradman told that Sachin’s batting style resembles his batting style, the Master Blaster was pretty much honoured and equally privileged. Also, it was quite sort of an icing to the cake when Sir Bradman included Sachin in his choice of the Best Test XI.
Tendulkar admitted that it was indeed a special moment of his life. Sachin also spoke about an incident when he was able to touch Bradman’s bat prior to India’s match against Australia in 2007.
He also told that throughout his career he tried to be a perfect batsman and he always searched for scoring runs and scoring them in his particular style. He also said off the fact that the defending champions will surely look to defend their title in the next World Cup.
Sachin Tendulkar is truly one of the biggest typhoons in India and he is respected as the God of Cricket at present. He had a neat and prolific cricketing career of 24 long years and he had been equally great throughout. The thirst which he possessed for scoring runs remained same when he scored his first international century than when he scored his 100th international century.
