Shah Rukh Khan Surprised Over Kolkata Knight Riders vs Peshawar Zalmi Matches Confirmation 1

Shah Rukh Khan has laid rest the speculations of him asking Peshawar Zalmi’s CEO Javid Afridi to organize a three-match T20 tournament between his IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders and PSL 2017’s winner in coming days. As reported by India Today, this is complete rubbish from Shahrukh’s point of view.

The Bollywood superstar has been busy shooting and never met or had a talk with Javid or any of the franchise’s member. Venky Mysore, KKR’s CEO, has denied any such report by adding Shahrukh doesn’t even know any such of a league is happening in Pakistan or Dubai.

“There is absolutely no truth in it. We categorically deny this. “I just had a word with Shah Rukh and he told me that he has been so busy shooting these days that he didn’t even know that any such league was happening in Pakistan or Dubai let alone calling any franchise owner and congratulating him on winning the tournament.”

Earlier, it was claimed by Peshawar Zalmi CEO Javid Afridi the Indian Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner has proposed a three-match T20 tournament with Pakistan Super League 2017 winners Peshawar Zalmi at a neutral venue.

Peshawar Zalmi defeated Quetta Gladiators in the finale of second season of PSL and claimed their maiden trophy. While talking to The Express News, Afridi said Shah Rukh asked him to talk to Pakistan’s government about the tournament getting organised at a neutral venue and that he’ll speak to the Indian one for the same.

Afridi also claimed he received congratulatory messages from Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Bollywood actors Sanjay Kapoor and Gulshan Grover over his side’s thumping win in the final.
