Once again, the former skipper of Pakistan Shahid Afridi is on the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Ever since he released his autobiography, he is facing the heat for something or the other on a regular basis. In the latest, he was trolled by the fans for his remarks on not allowing his daughters to play an outdoor sport.

Recently, in an event, Shahid Afridi revealed that he doesn’t want to allow his daughters to play an outdoor sport. He wants to follow the tradition of his community and also quoted that there are some social issues for him, which made him take the decision.

Further, he went on add saying that his wife also agreed to his thoughts thus not allowing them to play any outdoor sport. Afridi is happy to all his daughters to play any kind of indoor sport and he would like to support them if they wanted but not outdoor games.

Digging into his statement, it read ”It’s for social and religious reasons that I’ve made this decision regarding my daughters not competing in public sporting activities and their mother agrees with me. The feminists can say what they want; as a conservative Pakistani father, I’ve made my decision”

Well, the book of Shahid Afridi is revealing quite a few interesting aspects of his career. The flamboyant striker of the ball has admitted to the ball-tampering offence, which he committed during his peak stage of the career. He also revealed his age to the fans as well.

The book released in India and Pakistan and already making waves, as Afridi said. He also made a few comments on Gautam Gambhir, calling him Mr Attitude. Later, the Indian cricketer offered a visa to India to give him a treatment, as he is still acting like a kid. A lot of words have been exchanged between them.

As far as the career stats are concerned, Shahid Afridi appeared in 27 Test matches, 398 ODI games, 99 T20 International games and also participated in Indian Premier League.
