The Story
Australian cricket legend Shane Warne has been cleared over allegations of a physical assault by a female. A day ago, 30-year-old porn actress Valerie Fox accused the 48-year-old of punching her on the face during a night out in upmarket nightclub Loulou’s in Mayfair on Friday night.
The Metropolitan Police has confirmed the developments.
‘He has since been released with no further action to be taken’, police said
The 30-year-old adult actress reported the incident to Westminster police before posting about it on Twitter, calling him a vile creature. After the complaint was registered, the matter was investigated by detectives, who after interrogating Warne, released without charge and worry of any further action.
Fox shared images of her injuries which included a bruise under her left eye. She also shared a photo of a Metropolitan Police incident card to Twitter which read: ‘The crime we will investigate is assault’

Warne Approaches The Police First
It is understood that Warne contacted police himself after Fox made her allegations public.
In a public statement on Sunday night, he said, “I was shocked to read the media stories circulating earlier today concerning a false allegation of assault.”
“I have fully co-operated with the police, and they have now had the opportunity of seeing CCTV and speaking to witnesses.”
“The police have confirmed to me that I have been cleared of the allegation and that no further action will be taken. This is now the end of the matter.”
