The fifth edition of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) re-starts its journey on November 17, Friday. The tournament will kick off with the home team Sylhet Sixers engaging themselves in a high voltage encounter against the defending Champions, Dhaka Dynamites.
Pakistani heavyweight Shoaib Malik will don the jersey of the Comilla Victorians in the T20 fiesta and is already heading towards Bangladesh. The elegant stroke player took to micro-blogging site Twitter to express his happiness on the same. The right-handed batsman seemed to be thrilled before the opening day and mentioned that he is looking forward to representing his country and make them proud in the land of the Tigers.

Malik will join forces with some of the big names from all around the globe in the Comilla Victorians camp. The West Indian duo of Marlon Samuels and Darren Bravo will work as a boost for the team keeping in mind the exceptional capabilities of the Caribbeans when it comes to the 20-over format. Bangladeshi opener Tamim Iqbal has been in exquisite form in the past one year, and we saw a glimpse of the same in the ICC Champions Trophy earlier this year. Apart from Iqbal, the hard-hitting talent of Englishman Jos Buttler is something the Victorians will count on.
As far as the bowling line up is concerned, the Afghanistan duo of Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi will be a lethal force for the team. The bowling pair gave us a hint of their magical talents in the lucrative Indian premier League which completed its iconic 10th edition this year. Last but not the least the presence of Hasan Ali in the Comilla team is just the icing on the cake.
