Alastair Cook and Michael Clarke were the two great batsmen of England and Australia respectively. Surprisingly, when Sachin Tendulkar retired from the game in 2013 after playing his 200th Test, both of them were playing their respective 100th Test match. Another coincidence is that the run tally of these two cricketers equalled Sachin Tendulkar’s total.

As depicted in the above picture, Cook scored 7955 runs whereas Clarke scored 7966 runs in 100 Test matches. Their total Test run equalled Sachin, who scored 15921 runs in 200 Test matches.
