Shocking: This cricketer is unhappy at his portrayal in ‘MS Dhoni- The Untold Story’
MS Dhoni- The Untold Story is one of the best movies released this year in Bollywood as it has earned plaudits from both critics and fans. The movie has been a huge commercial success as well as it has become the second biggest opener of the year only next to Slaman Khan starrer- Sultan.
The biopic has seen the rise of MS Dhoni and the struggles he has faced to reach the level of stardom he possess today. The movie has seen a number of cricketers mentioned which has inspired the people who watched the film.
However, Dinesh Karthik has expressed his surprise over his portrayal in the movie as he was mentioned in a scene in which selection panel discusses his name with Sourav Ganguly. However, Sourav Ganguly will decide to take MS Dhoni ahead of Dinesh Karthik as they were the two options that were in contention ahead 2004 Bangladesh tour.
But the wicketkeeper batsman has disagreed to the scene as he admitted he never cribbed about not making it to the team and always believed that one’s skill would bring opportunities.
Dinesh Karthik has made debut to India much ahead of MS Dhoni as he has represented the country in 23 Tests, 71 ODIs and nine T20Is. He has been very active in the domestic circuit and IPL as he is still one of the highly rated wicket keepers in the country.
The movie has had its fair share of controversies as the movie production unit has decided to not name the three names that MS Dhoni has decided to remove three key players in Indian Team ahead of Australia tour.
It is speculated that the three players are Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman. Despite all the controversies, the movie have managed to mint 116.91 crore till Tuesday and is still going strong in few areas as it has taken the biopic level to a whole new level.
