Sunil Joshi:
The left-arm spinner from Karnataka, Sunil Joshi had a mixed run during Sourav Ganguly’s leadership role. He had featured in 24 matches across formats for India under Ganguly. Thus, after a mixed show, he had been sidelined when Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh proved their mettle.
After making his debut in 1996, Joshi had last featured in 2001 for India. The 49-year-old had represented India in 69 ODIs and 15 Tests for India with last ODI coming in 2001. Joshi had further tried his hand in coaching. He had a stint with Bangladesh as a spin bowling coach.
