Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has openly lauded the current Indian limited overs skipper MS Dhoni for his services to Indian cricket. Ganguly, in an Instagram post also went on to say that Dhoni was a fighter and was “pushing” himself in order to ensure that the Indian side achieved success. The Prince of Kolkata also backed Dhoni to win another World Cup for India and hinted that the T20 World Cup to be played in India next year could well be that awaited silver lining for MS Dhoni.
Ganguly’s words are bound to bring in a lot of optimism with the Indian team, as he is a highly respected figure. More than anything else, Ganguly also urged the Indian fans to have faith within the Indian team and asked them to continue their support for the side.

Met MS Dhoni a few days back at the Eden Gardens. He was telling me that his next goal is to make India win its 2nd T20 World Cup. When everyone is writing this man off, he is very silently pushing himself for all of you to make you guys proud yet again. This legend is a fighter. If he is thinking so much about your happiness, about making you proud even after he has done that on a number of occasions, all you can do is at least stand by your captain’s side when he requires your support! Believe in Dhoni. He has fought many odds in the history, he will fight this as well!
