Sourav Ganguly to become next joint secretary of CAB
Reports say that Sourav Ganguly is to be the CAB next joint secretary. The Former Indian captain and Bengal’s heart throb Sourav Ganguly’s is all set to get into cricket administration on July 27 2014. Dada will be elected Cricket Association of Bengal’s joint secretary in its 83rd Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Ganguly will replace Sujan Mukherjee whose four-year-term is getting over this July. The rest of the CAB panel will remain the same with 74-year-old veteran Jagmohan Dalmiya set to be re-elected President unopposed.
Though Sourav Ganguly’s brother has declined this but stating that he has no such knowledge of anything happening but if sources are to be believed then Sourav Ganguly’s inclusion in the Cricket Association of Bengal is all set to happen.
The CAB has 121 affiliated units.
