Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced the international fixtures for the Proteas tour to New Zealand in February and March 2017. CSA also announced the international fixtures for the Proteas tour of England from May to August 2017.
South Africa will tour New Zealand for three Tests, five One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and one Twenty20 International (T20I). The tour begins with a T20I at Eden Park, Auckland on Feb 17, 2017, and will then see five ODIs being played at Hamilton, Christchurch, Wellington, Napier, and Auckland respectively.
The three-match Test series will start on March 8, at the University Oval, Dunedin. The following matches will be played at Wellington and Hamilton.
South Africa will then tour England for three ODIs, three T20s, and four Tests. The teams will participate in the ICC Champions Trophy after the ODI series. The ODIs will be played at Headingley (24 May), Ageas Bowl (27 May) and Lord’s (29 May). The ODI series will be followed by the ICC Champions Trophy tournament from June 1 to June 19.
After the Champions trophy, South Africa will play three T20 International matches against England in the second half of June followed by the four-match Test series in July and August.
