South Africa were expected to put on a serious fight on the last day against England, but what followed ahead was simply a massacre. AB De Villiers, the pillar of South African batting was trapped LBW by Moeen Ali in the very first over, and that was that! The hosts never recovered from that blow, and it was just a matter of time before Ali ran a web of misery over the Proteas. Towering pacer Steve Finn too chipped in as he castled Dale Steyn. Fair to say, it was a below par performance from the South Africans. Twitter lauded England for this achievement, and below are some of the tweets.
Just asking myself what @amlahash has to say abt his poor decision making as captain? #SAvsENG @justproteas @OfficialCSA

You feel you trust Dale Steyn more as a batsmen than Duminy and Bavuma combined, that’s how bad it has become #SAvsENG #SSCricket

Protea Fire has been blissed in India and by the looks of it…cannot be re-ignited #SAvsENG

Blamed the tracks in India but at home no excuses will work. South Africa are being outplayed convincingly. Lots of issues. #SAvsENG

JP might as well go hell for leather to see if he can get close to a inch of any form! #SSCricket #SAvsENG #SunfoilSeries

Simply stunning from @ECB_cricket . Lots to ponder for @OfficialCSA. Loss against India has exposed the #Proteas!
