Virat Kohli is loved all over the world not only for his batting but for his kindheartedness and the respect he has for the players around. He is leading India towards some great heights; he has already won a majority of the Test matches he has captained in. His fan following is not restricted to a particular of the society. From young kids to former cricketers, people of all age groups idolize the Indian skipper.

Not just men, he has a huge fan following amongst women. Even some of the women cricketers have admitted that they love Virat Kohli’s attitude on and off the field. English women cricketers have even confessed that some of them even had a crush on him.

English cricket Danielle Wyatt is such a big fan of him that she even jokingly proposed to the Indian skipper on twitter to which another English cricketer Katherine Brunt replied that she was too late and he had already asked her out the previous week.
Still think @imVkohli is one amazing captain. So much criticism regarding the match. As a captain you never think about yourself. Always what’s best for the team. #anotherlivinglegend

This time, it’s the turn of South African Women’s captain Dane Van Niekerk, who has defended Virat Kohli after many pundits criticised his captaincy in the first Test as India came close to winning the match, but Sri Lanka, however, managed to escape a loss. Niekerk tweeted, “Still think @imVkohli is one amazing captain. So much criticism regarding the match. As a captain, you never think about yourself. Always what’s best for the team. #anotherlivinglegend”
Kohli also scored a century in the second innings which many critics feel was the reason for India’s delayed declaration.
