- Virat Kohli – The ‘Run Machine’ In World Cricket

The Indian Test skipper, who is in his form of his life, amassed 655 runs in the recently concluded five Test matches against England at the staggering average of 109.16 which included two centuries and two half-centuries and he remained not out twice in his eight innings.
In 12 Tests in 2016, Kohli scored 1,215 runs which included four centuries, two half-centuries at an average of 75.93
After a torrid time in England while averaging a paltry 13.40, Kohli turned the tables this season against visitors to become the leading run-scorer in the series.
While anchoring the innings, Kohli achieved his Test career best of 235 in the fourth Test at Wankhede which saw him find No. 2 place in the ICC Test rankings.
The 28-year-old led the national side from the front to beat New Zealand 3-0 before thrashing England 4-0.
In 84 years of Indian Test cricket history, no one has achieved what Kohli has scripted under his leadership as the side has clinched five back-to-back series wins, spread over 18 consecutive wins. He is the undisputed champion of 2016 in Tests apart from limited-overs cricket.
