Carlos Braithwaite

  1. West Indies vs England – Kolkata, World T20 final:

Undoubtedly, the most thrilling T20I this year, the West Indies got past England at the Eden Gardens to lift their second World T20 title. Needing 156 to win, the West Indies were under pressure after being 11-3. Marlon Samuels and Dwayne Bravo got along to stitch a partnership and ensure that their team remained in the hunt. While Samuels was around, he lost partners frequently and things seemed utterly bleak once skipper Darren Sammy was dismissed.

Brawny all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite had strike when West Indies needed 19 off the last over. Little did anyone know that something extraordinary was about to happen. Ben Stokes, who had been England’s go to bowler at the death, was belted for four massive sixes in as many deliveries, as the world witnessed a ridiculous World T20 final.
