3. Hanif Mohammad (1934-2016):

Hanif Mohammad was another priced jewel of the game who left the world for the heavens in 2016. The first player who received the title of ‘Little Master’ was suffering from lung cancer for which he underwent surgery in London in 2013. He died on August 11, aged 81 due to respiratory problems. He played 55 Tests for Pakistan between 1952 and 1969 and scored 3915 runs at an average of 43.98, comprising twelve hundreds. Hanif also played an integral role in Pakistan’s pursuit of achieving Test status.
