Miguel Cummins’ no –ball gaffe bowling to Saha: Judging a no ball is probably the easiest thing for an umpire. If the leg of the bowler lands outside the crease then it’s a no-ball. But during the third Test match between India and West Indies at Darren Sammy National Stadium, as the umpire was unable to watch the left-leg of Miguel Cummins, which was placed way outside the crease when Saha edged it to the wicketkeeper.
The replays showed that Cummins’ left leg landed beyond the crease but it was impossible to reverse the decision as the umpire had made the decision. Even skipper Virat Kohli was not amused by this and showed his disappointment from the dressing room. Saha was dismissed on an illegal delivery but unfortunately, the Indian team had no choice but to accept the decision made by the umpire.
