10. Imran Tahir
The leg-spinner has been the game changer with the ball for South Africa in 2016. Thankful for his fatal wrong-ones, Tahir was successful even on the pitches which didn’t provide any assistance to the spinners. His figures of seven for 45 against the West Indies during the Tri-series is the best among all bowlers in this calendar year.
Having played 15 matches, Tahir grabbed 27 wickets at an average of 25. Proving vital at any stage of the game, he promises to extract a wicket or two and thus keep his captain’s eye stick on him during crisis.
