12. Carlos Brathwaite (12th man):
The big-hitting West Indian registered his name into the history books by hitting four successive sixes to help his team win the 2016 World T20 final. Needing 19 from the final over, the right-handed batsman hit Ben Stokes’ first four balls for maximums to clinch victory from the jaws of defeat. The innings deservedly won the ICC T20I Performance of the Year and although his performance throughout the year was not worthy of a place in this team, his knock in the final has earned him the 12th man’s status in this star-studded line-up.
