As Cool as an ice, Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq led his side from the front in words and deeds as he produced a gritty hundred to place in a great position in the game while Yasir Shah outfoxed English batsmen to register one of the most amazing wins for Pakistan at the Home of Cricket, Lord’s.
England looked shocked and could only gasp in agony as a vibrant Pakistani side led by Younis Khan, aligned in front of the crowd to do a Push-Up celebration to dedicate the win to Pakistan Army trainers, who helped with their fitness and training in a boot camp in Kakul, Abbotabad in Pakistan.
England captain Alastair Cook did not react to the celebration one bit and was bemused at the visitor’s unique celebration moves at Lord’s while speaking to the media after the end of the Test.
The celebration meant a lot for the all cricketing fans who sided Pakistan through tough times of not playing a single game at home in Test cricket and reach their watershed at Lord’s with a win over formidable England side, tipped to roll the visitors 4-0 at the start of the series.
