Sportzwiki's Year Review: Top 5 ODI Innings Of 2016 2

1. Quinton de Kock (South Africa) – 178 (113b, 16*4, 11*6)

In arguably one of the best ODI innings ever played in South Africa, South Africa’s wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock, produced an innings to cherish in the first ODI on Australia’s tour of South Africa in October. Australia batted first and put on a decent total of 294 but de Kock made light work of it in no time.

He was rampant right from the start of the game, giving the Australian bowlers no respite on his way to 178, his career best, as he also wrote his name in South Africa’s history scoring the second highest individual score as a batsman in their history. He helped his side to the third highest successful run chase in ODI history with his innings to cherish.
