After bowling out South Africa for 242, Australia were in total command of the Test following a 158-run partnership between David Warner and Shaun Marsh. But Warner’s dismissal opened the floodgates and Steven Smith’s men kept on losing wickets at regular intervals to lose all their wickets for a mere 86 runs. South Africa replied by scoring a mammoth 540 in the second innings, setting the hosts an improbable target of 539 runs. The men from Down Under once again struggled to put up a good fight and were all out for 361, handing the Proteas a huge victory (by 177 runs).
