Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Tuesday (June 12) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming A team unofficial Test series against Bangladesh A, later this month.

Test opener Dimuth Karunatne will lead the side in a bid regain the match fitness. He is currently nursing a finger injury which he suffered in early May, eventually ruling him out of the Windies series.

However, the opening batsman will aim to get back to the squad for the South Africa series while hitting the ground running.

Meanwhile, seamer Dasun Shanaka will be his deputy throughout the tour against the rookie Bangladesh team.
