In 2009, when Sri Lanka toured Pakistan, the Islander’s bus was attacked by terrorists. After this, Pakistan hosted the matches in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). But finally, the country has managed to prove itself as a safe place. Meanwhile, Karunaratane’s statement has clearly stated that Pakistan is safe to tour.
