James Anderson has been brilliant:
However, James Anderson had delivered the goods against India and then repeated his heroics in the tough Sri Lankan conditions as well. On the other hand, Stuart Broad would be eager to don the jersey after being benched for last two Tests.
Meanwhile, it is also the perfect time to rest someone like James Anderson and give some match time to Stuart Broad in the Asian conditions. Though it would have been Broad-Anderson pair for Sri Lanka tour, the emergence of Sam Curran made things tough for Stuart Broad.

Sam Curran not only delivering the goods in the fast bowling department but also making the difference for the team with his batting heroics. He played a key role against India and also repeated the same against Islanders as well.
Coming to the series, at Galle, which was Rangana Herath’s retirement Test, the debutant Ben Foakes incredible century helped them to get over the things while Jennings’ knock helped them to bag the game. Meanwhile, in Pallekele, it was Joe Root, who stood tall in the middle to score a fantabulous century.
