- KL Rahul:
It was either feast or famine for Rahul till the series against England late last year. However, the maturity and application he displayed on some real testing tracks against Australia at home defined his abilities as a top order batsman. Having raked six-half centuries in seven innings against Australia, Rahul was probably in his peak form, before a serious shoulder injury sidelined him for well over three months. Now that he is back, the elegant right hander will look to continue his form and make the habit of converting his starts into big scores. In India’s previous tour here, he was the Man of the Match in the second Test at Colombo and played a key role in India’s revival in the series.
