Dhoni now has been struggling in the ODIs for quite a while now, and despite his average being over 60 this year, that doesn’t reflect the entire picture. The wicketkeeper has looked a pale shadow of himself, struggling to rotate the strike and taking a lot of time to settle in.
By the time he settles in, India tends to give up a lot of momentum, and that does affect the game from an overall perspective. With his skills waning with time, Dhoni will have to make these five games count at all costs.
