Discarded Indian off spinner Harbhajan Singh might no longer be playing an active role in Indian cricket, but his passion, dedication, and commitment to the game remain the same. The Indian bowling legend is often active on Twitter, where he interacts with his fans and even his friends from the Indian cricket team. Known for being extremely straightforward and honest in his approach, the champion off spinner reflects the same on social media.

Recently, during the ongoing tour of Sri Lanka, Virat Kohli had tweeted about the features of his latest earphones and how comfortable the gadget was. Seeing it as an opportunity to have some fun with his good friend, Bhajji was soon to jump in the fray.

Replying to Kohli’s tweet about his own new earphones, Harbhajan mentioned cheekily, “Send me one ?.”

Apart from the tweet, the veteran off spinner was also in the news recently, for his take on the likely future of R. Ashwin. According to Harbhajan, Ashwin might find it extremely difficult to be a part of the ODI setup, given the intense level of competition in the side.

“I am not sure if R Ashwin has been rested or dropped. We have seen reports that Ashwin has been rested but at the same time in his rest period, he is going to England to play county cricket. So I don’t know what kind of rest it is going to be. I am not sure whether he has been rested or dropped,” said Harbhajan.

“It is a good opportunity for Kuldeep Yadav to showcase his talent and start winning games for India. He has done well in whatever limited opportunities he has got. He is different to the other spinners who are usually wrist spinners or finger spinners but Kuldeep is someone who bowls Chinaman and he brings a lot to the table in terms of variety so hopefully he will be good,”  Singh added.
